About Us
The Catholic Community Foundation of West Central and Southwest Ohio is a non-profit, charitable organization granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS. The Foundation is a public charity, independent from the Archdiocese, but has a primary focus of supporting the long-term funding needs of Catholic parishes, schools, ministries and organizations within the nineteen counties of the Archdiocese.

For Parishes, Schools, and Ministries
The Catholic Community Foundation will help parishes, families of parishes, schools, and Catholic ministries establish and grow endowment funds for their own local needs.
An endowment fund is a longer-term, sustained investment that provides a perpetual source of income that helps support the general needs of a parish, school, or ministry. Endowment funds provide additional income to the weekly offertory and other fundraising initiatives.
By providing a stream of predictable income from endowments, parishes, schools, and ministries will be able to focus more on their vital missions and the impact they have on our local communities.
All funds at the Foundation will be managed and invested in a morally responsible manner, following the Socially Responsible Investment Guidelines published by the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB). Distributions and grants will only be made to beneficiaries that are aligned with Catholic Church teaching.
For Individual Donors and Families
The Catholic Community Foundation serves individuals and families by providing charitable giving funds that align with their Catholic values. The Foundation is here to help donors leave a lasting legacy to the Catholic organizations they love.
Donors will have peace of mind knowing that their contributed funds are:
- Safe and protected;
- Managed and invested in a morally responsible manner;
- Distributed to beneficiaries that are not in conflict with Catholic teachings and values.
